After a long research for not expensive hotel in the Asian part of `İstanbul`, I found this one, which suited all our requirements for location, price and parking free of charge (a big advantage in Istanbul). The location is in quiet neighbourghood, there are some nice little kebap restaurants in 10 min walking distance and Bağdat street is 15 min away (but not the chik part of the street, rather than just an avenue with small local restaurants and shops). There are some great fish restaurants with very good prices compared to European part. The hotel is also very near to the metro station, so it offers easy access do `Kadıkoy`. The hotel itself is typical 3* hotel in Turkey, however there are some advantages fromthe hotels that I have stayed in European part - spacious room, free parking and WIFI, which was available in the total area of the hotel. The room was big and there were chairs and table with coffee/tea facilities. The TV was flat screen with a lot of programs, but mainly Turkish and from Middle East. The bathroom was small with shower cabin, which was the only thing that I did not like in the hotel. First, it was very narrow, second there was some places that were a bit mouldy (but not a big issue) and also, there was nowhere in the cabin where you could place your shampoo and other stuff - quite inconvenient. In general the room was clean, the housemaids replaced all the towels every day (nice for a 3* hotel). The breakfast was also typical - some hot dishes, cold plates, etc. Nice enough, but not something extraordinary. The staff in the hotel were great, spoke English and were very helpful - gave us some good advices about everything that we asked. So in conclusion, I think that if you are looking for a hotel in the Asian part of Istanbul (usually going on business) and you are on budget (as all the hotels in this are were very expensive and are not so many), this is a hotel for you. Definitely we will stay again in our next trips in Istanbul.
